Ted and Teresa Morawa radiate warmth and welcome to their visitors, and do so with an unusual and charming accent that comes from their early years in Poland. They have been completely immersed in the hospitality business in Salida since they moved here ten years ago.

Like many other Salida residents, they first discovered the town while vacationing and later followed other family members to this lovely spot. The same qualities that attracted them to Salida make the area a wonderful place for today's visitors : the slower pace of life reminiscent of days-gone-by (Sylvia thinks it is like "Happy Days" in the 1950s) and the friendliness of the small-town folk.

The best parts of the hospitality business, they say, is meeting people from all over the world and having the opportunity to spend more time with their children, Sylvia and Joanne.

In this family-run business, all of the family members help out as they can, although Sylvia is away much of the time now at college where she is studying for a degree in Management.

Having been visitors themselves, they remember the comforts and discomforts of various lodgings and, now that they are in a position to do something about it, place a real premium on clean and quiet rooms.
